Now, we’re looking for a modern, growth-oriented VP of Marketing to take our brand, customer acquisition, and retention strategies to the next level.
🎯 The OpportunityAs our VP of Marketing, you’ll drive the next phase of Soundstripe’s growth. You’ll lead a savvy team of marketers across performance, content, brand, lifecycle, crafting strategies that directly tie to increased brand awareness, revenue growth and customer lifetime value.
We are looking for a builder. A hands-on leader who knows how to create compelling creative campaigns, effectively drive and capture demand, deliver measurable outcomes, and develop high-performing teams. This person get into the weeds with the team and will not be afraid to do the work that needs to be done.
We have a preference for a candidate in the Atlanta metro area, but we are open to other locations if they fit the profile. This role will lead a geographically dispersed team.
🔥 Your ImpactFull-Funnel Growth & Performance Marketing
- Design and own the growth marketing strategy: acquisition, retention, and expansion.
- Establish clear objectives and KPIs that align with company growth targets (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn reduction).
- Lead performance marketing efforts across all channels.
- Continuously experiment with new channels, tactics, and campaigns to unlock new opportunities.
- Ensure we have a strong marketing foundation across our key channels (website, SEO, social, lifecycle).
- Optimize our tech stack to ensure we have the solutions we need to drive continued growth and retention.
- Focus on programs and tactics that acquire, covert and retain customers, improving key metrics across different stages of the funnel.
Brand, Content & Community
- Scale creative content strategies that drive engagement, awareness, and community building.
- Supervise brand storytelling, content marketing, partnerships, and experiential activations.
- Ensure our brand connects with our ideal customer profile.
- Tap into our key assets - musicians, sound engineers, and content creators - and find creative ways to leverage them in our marketing efforts
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Effectively communicate marketing strategies, tactics, and performance to company leadership and our board.
- Lead and mentor a talented, scrappy marketing team—and know when to roll up your sleeves.
- Align with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure cross-functional success.
- Build relationships with media, influencers, and external agencies.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Implement data-first decision making across all marketing channels.
- Optimize spend and allocate resources for maximum ROI.
- Continually test new channels and tactics to find areas of opportunity.
- Provide clear, actionable reporting to the CEO and leadership team.
Vision & Culture
- Contribute to company-wide strategic planning.
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and relentless improvement.
- Proven experience building and scaling SaaS or subscription-based marketing engines.
- A full-funnel growth mindset with hands-on experience in performance marketing and customer lifecycle management.
- Expertise in ARR, CAC, LTV metrics, and the levers that influence them.
- Strong background in content marketing, influencer marketing, partnerships, and experiential marketing.
- Solid understanding of the current AI landscape, its impact on different marketing channels, and how to leverage it to drive growth and retention.
- Experience leading teams through change, growth, and creative innovation.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven, tech company culture.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with creator economy brands, music, or content platforms.
