POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a contracted technical jewelry designer to produce highly detailed and precise CAD files for our always-evolving collection of Goddess jewelry. The ideal candidate has a deep expertise in CAD modeling, technical jewelry illustration, and the entire design-to-production workflow. This role is fully remote. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet regularly with Product Development to review Goddess concepts & revision requests and fine tune product specifications;
• Prepare CAD files of Goddess pieces,
• Develop precise CAD models and technical drawings that align with SKU planning, covering category, collection, margin, and pricing needs;
• Standardize relief details (depth, illustration style, finish texture) across the line;
• Prepare and hand off complete technical packages, including detailed CAD files and product specifications, to manufacturers;
• Compile and hand off technical packages and detailed product specifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience designing fine or semi-fine jewelry, with strong technical proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino or Matrix;
• Certification in fine jewelry design and production required, with expertise in CAD modeling for jewelry;
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator for producing supplementary product illustrations and technical packs;
• A portfolio demonstrating strong CAD work and technical execution of ideas;
• Exceptional aesthetic sensibility in the luxury and accessible luxury jewelry markets;
• Strong sense of fashion and an ability to design within brand guidelines while maintaining creativity;
• Extreme attention to detail, with a focus on how technical specifications affect the final product’s desirability;
• Ability to translate creative direction into technical CAD models and production-ready designs.
