Position Summary

Full time opportunity for local LA candidates who can commute to office 2x a week, contract available for remote candidates. We are looking for a Wholesale Account Executive who can drive high volume growth within our wholesale channel. The ideal candidate has worked for 7+ years in wholesale with jewelry or accessories brands and has established relationships with major and specialty retailers (department stores, boutiques, gift shops, spas, hotels, cruise ships, airports, etc) both domestically and internationally.

The role requires deep account management expertise in the luxury, fashion, or accessories spaces, as well as a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish Wholesale Partnerships: Actively pursue and secure wholesale partnerships with top target major and specialty retailers, including department stores, mini majors, key regional boutiques, hotels, resorts, museums, cruise ships, and gift shops, in order to maximize market share and generate substantial purchase orders.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Increase revenue through consistent replenishment and seasonal product offerings to existing accounts, exceeding quarterly projections for sales, average order value (AOV), and new account acquisitions.
  • Account Management: Implement strategic road appointments with current and prospective accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Sales Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, encompassing both top-down and bottom-up strategies, to achieve sales goals and expand brand presence.
  • B2B Wholesale Platforms: Utilize B2B wholesale platform NuOrder to streamline order management and enhance collaboration with wholesale partners.
  • Buyer Network: Leverage established contacts with buyers from specialty across the US, Canada, and Europe.
  • Outreach Strategy: Plan and execute a multi-tiered outreach strategy, encompassing various marketing and sales tactics, to expand the brand's reach and secure new wholesale accounts.
  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and a willingness to test and implement new processes and workflows to streamline operations.
  • Collaboration and Impact: Collaborate with an enthusiastic founder team and contribute to the brand's meaningful societal impact, which values both financial gain and social causes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Wholesale Account Management, successfully scaling new brands in the jewelry, fashion, accessories, beauty, apparel, or luxury goods sectors. Jewelry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute top-down and bottom-up sales plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency with B2B wholesale platforms like NuOrder.
  • Established contacts with buyers from specialty stores in the luxury accessories or gifting space across the US, Canada, and Europe.
  • Experience in planning and executing multi-tiered outreach strategies.
  • A proactive and self-starting mindset, willing to implement new processes and workflows.
