Awe Inspired is a venture-backed spiritual wellness brand based in Los Angeles, CA. In 2018 when lifelong jeweler Jill Johnson beat cancer for the third time, she set out to design a necklace that was universally wearable, exceptionally made, and deeply empowering as a way to honor her fellow survivors. Thus the Goddess Necklace was born. Jill’s zillennial son Max made a digital Goddess Quiz that went viral, and together they founded Awe Inspired.

Since then, we’ve dedicated ourselves to helping others Live in Awe by designing wearable tokens of empowerment and using our platform to champion equality and social justice. Our beloved Goddess Collection has been worn by some of the most inspiring women in the world (Madonna, Miley, Taylor, Demi, Tyra, SJP, Halsey, etc) and featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W, and InStyle. A portion of all proceeds benefit our incredible charity partners, and to date we’ve donated a million dollars to the causes we champion.


We are seeking a motivated and experienced independent Editorial PR Lead to join our team on a contracted basis. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing, this position will play pivotal role in the next iteration of Awe Inspired’s PR efforts. As a key contributor to our PR strategy, you will spearhead all press opportunities, pitch captivating stories to media outlets, craft engaging press releases, secure editorial features, and contribute to our celebrity partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate maintains an actionable and warm contact list with key writers and buyers in the world of fashion, accessories, beauty and wellness media.


  • Act as the primary point of contact for all press inquiries and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic PR plans to increase brand visibility and awareness.
  • Pitch captivating story angles and press releases to targeted media outlets.
  • Pitch and secure speaking opportunities for the leadership team.
  • Pitch and secure brand stories in business, consumer and trade media.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists and editors.
  • Write and edit communications and press materials.
  • Secure press coverage in relevant publications, websites, and blogs.
  • Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify newsworthy content and PR opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and best practices in PR and editorial strategies.


  • Minimum 5 years experience PR agency experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills & EQ – you’ll be on the front lines of our brand.
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, creative, collaborative environment.
  • Stay current on fashion, entertainment, lifestyle, culture, art, music and design trends.
  • Have a strong POV on media, digital platforms/commerce and latest trends.
  • Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and aptitude for immediately developing a highly organized approach to managing multiple projects.
  • Developed editorial and design skills (writing, editing, grammar, proofreading, laying out + designing presentations, etc.) along with a high-level of creativity.
