Overview
We're looking for a legal administrative assistant to assist a group of attorneys across corporate, transactional, and estate planning matters. The position involves hands-on document preparation, client communication, and administrative coordination in a fast-paced legal environment. A strong background in corporate or transactional legal work from a law firm setting is essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, redline, and blackline a variety of corporate documents including board minutes, real estate closing documents, banking documentation, contracts, and estate planning materials
- Handle preparation and recording of deeds, e-filing of estate and probate matters, and electronic processing of incoming mail and vendor expenses
- Draft routine correspondence and communicate with internal team members and external clients in a professional manner
- Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and non-legal research tasks in support of multiple attorneys and paralegals
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate or transactional legal work from a law firm, with exposure to commercial real estate, trusts and estates, and corporate transactions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Previous experience in redline/compare software programs and Microsoft Excel a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional proofreading and attention to detail
