Primary Responsibilities:
- Outbound Prospecting: Proactively identify and contact potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate interest in dataplor’s data solutions
- Lead Qualification: Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their business challenges, qualify leads, and determine fit for dataplor’s offerings
- Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts, activities, and results in Salesforce or other CRM tools to ensure a robust pipeline of qualified leads
- Collaboration: Work closely with AEs and the SDR Manager to optimize handoff processes, refine messaging, and improve outreach strategies
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target client segments to identify new opportunities for dataplor
- Metrics-Driven Performance: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs for outreach, meetings booked, and qualified evaluations generated
- Drive and Resilience: A self-starter with the ability to stay motivated and persevere in a high-volume outbound sales environment
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages and build rapport with prospects
- Curiosity and Learning: A strong desire to understand dataplor’s technical products, target industries, and client use cases
- Experience: 1+ years in an outbound sales or SDR role (preferred), including experience in cold calling and emailing. GIS or Data Background (strongly preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up, remote work environment, with a strong ability to manage time and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with the geospatial, point-of-interest, or data-as-a-service
- Experience selling data solutions or working in a SaaS startup environment
