We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic individual to join our team as the Director of Finance & Strategy. This role requires a strong comfort level with remote work and global collaboration, as well as a passion for mathematics and data.

Role Overview:

The Director of Finance & Strategy will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our company. As a flexible thinker, you will be responsible for developing and managing financial models, providing strategic finance insights, investor reporting and relations, and ensuring robust financial planning and analysis. This role requires close collaboration with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and the Executive Suite to support product development, market strategies, and overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be someone who possesses the ability to work cross-functionally and apply strategic thinking to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the company’s financial models and P&L statements.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee platforms such as QuickBooks, Mercury Banking, Mosaic, TravelPerk, Ramp, etc., and negotiate with additional platform vendors.
• Build and analyze operating models to support business decisions.
• Provide strategic finance insights, supporting product development and market strategies.
• Prepare and present financial reports and strategic plans to the board.
• Analyze revenue per employee and other financial metrics to drive business performance.
• Collaborate with various departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams on finance-related projects and initiatives.
• Develop and implement processes to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Support the CEO and other executives with financial analysis and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a high-growth startup environment.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness, able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Comfortable working in a remote and global environment.
• Passion for mathematics and data.
