Cloverly
Senior Product Designer
📍Hybrid in ATL
Solving our climate crisis requires bold action and Cloverly is on a mission to make it happen.
We’ve made big strides already—our platform is the most advanced digital infrastructure for the carbon markets, enabling organizations to scale their operations and their impact. As a team of experienced founders, builders, and sustainability enthusiasts, we know this is just the beginning. That’s where you come in.
What you’ll be doing
This role is perfect for a builder who thrives in the unknown and wants to make a big impact fast. You will be in the room shaping the product, influencing decisions, and leaving your fingerprints on everything we ship. Our design system is just getting off the ground, so you’ll have the chance to both work with what we have while building out a new system that can scale with us.
Your day-to-day will look like:
- Champion user-centric & PLG principles: design intuitive, self-service experiences that drive user activation, adoption, and retention, applying Product-Led Growth (PLG) best practices.
- Shape our design system: work with our current set of components while actively defining and building a more robust and scalable design system
- Translate ambiguous problems/ideas or high level product requirements into clear, validated design solutions with minimal oversight
- Develop a deep knowledge of carbon credit sales and the carbon project developer to inform product direction and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams to shape strategy and execution.
- Balance speed and quality, focusing on iterative progress over pixel-perfection to get solutions into the hands of users quickly.
- Enable engineering velocity: deliver on multiple project streams or work to ensure our engineering team has a continuous flow of high-quality design deliverables.
- Leverage AI and modern design tools to optimize and increase efficiency
What you’ll bring
You are a product owner at heart, driven to understand the 'why' behind every project and capable of leading design from concept to launch. You take initiative naturally and are energized by creating clarity in the user experience. You can balance craft with pragmatism - you know when to move quickly and when to take your time on the details. You are highly collaborative and take the time to validate and provide or seek feedback from others.
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of product design experience, including time in early-stage or high-growth startups
- Experience shipping in environments without a fully mature design system or research org
- Strong UX and interaction design fundamentals with solid visual/UI craft
- Experience designing complex B2B SaaS products
- Strong understanding of PLG design principles
- Experience creating and evolving a design system
- Demonstrable experience working in highly ambiguous environments turning rough ideas/concepts into intuitive product experiences
- Experience with Figma and familiarity with React or component-based design systems

Working at Cloverly:
Cloverly is a place for people who want to make a real impact. If you're energized by solving hard problems, taking initiative, and being part of a team that holds itself to a high standard, you will thrive here.
We value people who:
- Own it: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You take initiative, figure things out, and follow through.
- Use good judgment: You make smart decisions with imperfect information and keep moving forward while adjusting and reprioritizing as needed.
- Make an impact: You care about results, not just activity. You focus on what moves the needle.
- Team over self: You operate with low ego - you’re collaborative, open to feedback, and focused on solving problems.
- Be candid: You’re direct and share feedback openly and respectfully.
- Innovate: You are constantly thinking about how to make things better or more efficient.
- Have fun: You take work seriously but not yourself, you are contributor to a positive and team-first company culture
We’re a high-performing, fast-paced team, and expectations are high. If you prefer a highly structured environment with a clear to-do list every day, Cloverly probably isn’t the right fit, and that’s totally fine. But if you thrive in ambiguity, love to build, and want to be surrounded by people who care deeply about our environment and work hard to serve our customers and our planet - we’d love to meet you.
