The Role: Business Development Representative (BDR)

As a Business Development Representative at Cloud Range, you will be on the front lines of driving revenue growth – identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective customers. You will work closely with our marketing, sales, and solutions teams to ensure a seamless customer journey while leveraging a mix of outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and creative outreach to engage cybersecurity leaders and decision-makers across commercial, government, higher education, and critical infrastructure sectors.

This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and wants to play a key role in expanding Cloud Range’s brand identity and demand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring high-quality opportunities for the sales team
  • Research and identify target accounts, key stakeholders, and decision-makers
  • Drive outbound prospecting through email, phone, social media, and events to generate qualified leads
  • Consistently hit and exceed activity and pipeline generation metrics
  • Partner with marketing and sales to optimize outreach campaigns and messaging
  • Represent Cloud Range at industry events, webinars, and virtual meetings
  • Maintain meticulous records in HubSpot, our CRM, and report on performance metrics regularly

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in high-volume BDR/SDR, sales, or lead generation roles, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology
  • Proven ability to hit or exceed aggressive targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented with a competitive drive
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales automation tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator experience a plus)
  • Passion for cybersecurity and helping organizations improve their security posture
